The new exhibition of the works of Adam Korpak.

The artist has lived in Finland since 1974. He is well known, mainly due to his 22 year collaboration with Helsingin Sanomat, the biggest Finnish daily paper (1.5 million copies run). Unfortunately Adam Korpak is better known in Finland than ih his own country. We hope, that it will change thanks to this exhibiton.

The exhibtion consits of 2 parts. The first one entitled "Cartoonist's Stocktaking" presents satirical drawings and has already been shown in Poland in 2007, in Legnica, acompagning the international post competition exhibition "Satyrykon". Adam Korpak obtained the Grand Prix at that competion the previous year and in 2007 was chairman of the Jury. The second part of the exhibtion consists of the series of illustrations to the Finnish national epic poem Kalevala, published in Helsinki in 1999. In August, the exhibition will be moved to Cracow, to the Manggha Centre.
