Studied at the Warsaw School of Art and at the Paris Academie des Beaux Arts. Stage designer, puppet desinger, book illustrator, graphic artist, caricaturist. Made his debut as caricaturist in 1920 in Marchołt. Contributed to Sowizdrzał, Szpilki, Stańczyk, Szarża, Wróble na Dachu, Szczutek. Art director of Cyrulik Warszawski. Awarded the Golden Pin with Laurel (złota szpilka z wawrzynem) in 1966. Received the State award of 'Kawalerski' and 'Oficerski' Krzyż Orderu Odrodzenia Polski.
