Studied architecture at the Warsaw Polytechnic and stage design at the School of Applied Arts in Brussels. Worked as book designer and satirical artist, jurnalist, chief editor of Polska i Świat and art director of many magazines. Contributed to Magazyn Polski, Polityka, Kultura (weekly cartoon 'The shortest review').
