Studied at the department of Graphics at the Warsaw Academy of Fina Arts. Made his debut as caricaturist in the weekly Mucha in 1952. Contributed to Szpilki, Karuzela, Kaktus, Polityka, Perspektywy, Trybuna Ludu and Sztandar Młodych. Awarded the Golden Pin (złota szpilka) in 1968 and the Silver Pin (srebrna szpilka) in 1983.
