Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts with K. Frycz, K. Sichulski, J. Mehoffer and X. Dunikowski. Painter, graphic artist, illustrator, cartoonist, master of portrait caricature. Tought stage desing at the Cracow Academy for 23 years. Made his debut as caricaturist in 1945 in Odrodzenie. Contributed to Życie Literackie, Przekrój, Nowa Kultura, Szpilki. Awarded many prizes, among other the 1st degree award of the Ministry of Culture in 1967 and the Golden Pin with Laurel (złota szpilka z wawrzynem) in 1969.
