Born in 1945. Studied Architecture at the Warsaw Polytechnic. Specialises in illustrations, painting, poster design and stage design. Lectured at the School of Visual Art in New York. Contributes to The New York Times, Business Week, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker, Times, Newsweek and Der Spiegel. Winner of over 100 prestigious prizes, including medals from the Art Directors Club and the Society of Illustrators In New York and Los Angeles, the Prix Savignac in Paris (1994) and the first prize in the 'New York City Capital of the World' competition. His works have been exhibited in numerous on-man shows in the USA, Japan, France, Germany and Poland.
