Studied Architecture at the Cracow Polytechnic. Works as cartoonist and graphic designer, occasionaly as stage designer. Made his debut in 1971 in Student. Contributed in Poland to ITD, Szpilki, Przekrój, Miesięcznik Literacki, Projekt, Solidarność and abroad to Pardon, Graphis, Graphic Design, New York Times, Frankfurter Rundschau. Hasbeen publishing his weekly cartoon in Polityka, since 1975. Awarded the Bronze Pin (brązowa szpilka) in 1974.
