Grauated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Toruń University. Illustrator, cartoonist, poster designer, stage designer. Author of tv satirical tv programmes, children's poems and other literary pieces. Performed in satirical theatres. Made his debut as caricaturist in1944 in Stańczyk. Contributed to Szpilki, ¦wiat, Trybuna Robotnicza, Przekrój (the Professor Filutek series had been published since 1946), Playboy. Bachelor of "Order U¶miechu" and awarded the Gold Pin with Laurel(złota szpilka z wawrzynem) in 1988.
