ALEKSANDER KOBZDEJ
(1920 - 1972)

Studied architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic in 1939-1941, studying at the same time painting and drawing with Władysław Lam. In 1944 attended courses at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts and studied with E. Eibisch. Worked as painter, graphic designer, sculptor, architect, stage designer and exhibition designer. Professor at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. In 50s contributed to Szpilki, publishing his satircal drawings.
