Graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Painter, graphic designer, cartoonist. Made his debut as caricaturist in the weekly Świat in 1937. Contributed to Dziennik Ludowy, Trybuna Wolności, Głos Pracy, Express Wieczorny, Rózgi, Rzeczpospolita, Trybuna Ludu, Życie Warszawy.
