Graduated from the branch of Cracow Academy of Fine Art in Katowice, the Faculty of Graphic Art. Made his debut as caricaturist in Szpilki in 1972. Contributed to Ty i Ja, Perspektywy, Tak i Nie, Panorama, Młody Medyk, Projekt. Awarded Silver Pin (Srebrna Szpilka) in 1972 and 1976. Ministry of Culture Awards of 2nd and 3rd grade for artistic and teaching achievements. At present he teaches illustration and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
