Graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Cartoonist, print maker, illustrator. Made his debut in the weekly Zwierciadło in 1972. Contributed to Szpilki, Tygodnik Literacki, Przegląd Techniczny, Magazyn Rodzinny. Since 1990 has been contributing regularly to Gazeta Wyborcza. Awarded the Henryk Grunwald Young People's Prize in 1995.
