Studied Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and painting with prof. W. Weiss at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. Painter, book illustrator, advertising posters designer. Made his debut as caricaturist in Kurier Literacko-Naukowy, supplement to Ilustrowany Kurier Codzienny, in 1928. Contributed to Wróble na Dachu, and after the war, to, among others, Przekrój, Szpilki, Świat, Dziennik Polski, Życie Warszawy. Awarded the State Award in the field of Caricature in 1952, the Gold Pin with Laurel (Złota szpilka z wawrzynem) in 1971.
