(1907 - 1989)
Born in Warsaw. Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts (1927-32) and in France and Italy (1933). Published his first works in Cyrulik Warszawski (1928), and continued contributing to that magazine. Also worked as painter(oils). Left Poland in 1935 and settled in England, where contributed to main British periodicals, while producing in the same time so called Topolski's Chronicle. British citizen since 1947, died in London in 1989.
