Born in Delatyna. Studied art in Cracow and Paris. Painter and teacher (rector of the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts for many years). Worked as caricaturist in his youth, when he belonged to Zielony Balonik. Published his caricatures (especially portraits) in Liberum Veto.
