LUDWIK MARKUS
(1983- 1941)

Born in Warsaw. Studied art in Warsaw and Paris. Painter, cubist and graphic artist. Went to live in France, where achieved international recognition (friend of Picasso and Apollinair). In his youth worked as caricaturist, publishing mainly in Liberum Veto and in Paris press.
