Born in Warsaw. Graduatd from the faculty of Chemistry at the Dorpat University. Painter, graphic artist, drawing artist, caricaturist and expert in etching techniques. Was main illustrator and artistic director of the weekly Marchołt, devoted to "lyrical poetry, satire and graphic art".
