Józef Piłsudski
ZDZISŁAW CZERMAŃSKI
(1896 - 1970)

Born in Cracow, cartoonist and caricaturist, especially known for his portrait caricatures. Started to publish his drawings in Szczutek in 1920 and later contributed to various other periodicals, eg. Cyrulik Warszawski. Also worked as painter, drawing artist and writer. Few years before the Second World War emigrated to England and later on to the United States, where his works were published in the best american periodicals.
