(1777 - 1832)
Born in Warsaw. Spend his childhood around Siedlce. As a teenager became student of J. P. Norblin and later of M. Baciarelli. At the age of 20, he was 'hired' by Prince Joseph Poniatowski, for whom he was producing caricatures and satirical drawings. Spend a year in Lithuania in 1802 and later moved to St. Petersburg, where he bacame member of the Petersburg Academy. He was a well known engraver and painter. Considerd to be the most talented artist from the Norblin school.
